Kagan’s Snowe job on gun rights

The more it looks like the Senate will confirm Elena Kagan for the Supreme Court, the more gun owners should worry. Last week, Sen. Olympia J. Snowe of Maine became the fourth Republican to stand behind Presidents Obama’s nominee on the phony basis that Ms. Kagan supports gun rights.

Mrs. Snowe explained in a press release that, “as a longtime, ardent supporter of the Second Amendment rights, it was critical that (Solicitor) General Kagan stated during her testimony that the precedents set by the Supreme Court in the Heller and McDonald cases – which upheld a personal right to posses a firearm – are ‘deeply rooted in the nation’s history and traditions’ and are ‘settled law’; that she has absolutely no reason to think that the court’s analysis was incorrect in any way’; and, that she will apply these cases as law ‘going forward.’ ”

Imagine, a Republican Senator as naïve as this. In today’s politics, as divided as the Congress is, and if the tables were turned, no Democrat would vote for a Conservative Republican. The other woman Senator from Maine is just as troublesome for the GOP, both of them should be disavowed by the Party. It’ll never happen – the Party is too wimpy.

We’ve been down this road before. Less than a year ago, Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick J. Leahy, Vermont Democrat, made similar assurances regarding then-Supreme Court hopeful Sonia Sotomayor, saying, “I do not see how any fair observer could regard her testimony as hostile to the Second Amendment personal right to bear arms, a right she has embraced and recognizes.”

Once the “wise Latina” (radical) donned the robes of her lifetime office, any pretense of upholding the individual’s right to bear arms was jettisoned. MS. Sotomayor signed onto the gun rights dissent of Justice Stephen G. Breyer last month which stated, “I can find nothing in the Second Amendment’s text, history or underlying rationale that could warrant characterizing it as ‘fundamental’ insofar as it seeks to protect the keeping and bearing of arms for private self-defense purposes.”

Mr. Leahy is an evil person. He knows damn well that the second amendment means what it says. He is the reason, along with many others in his party that are destroying our country. Any politician, including judges, who don’t uphold our Constitution are extreme radicals! My wish would be that if ever the good wins back government – we begin impeachment proceedings against any judge that rules contrary to the Constitution. This would include past, present, and future rulings. To think that Sotomayor may be in the Court for at least 30 years – too long for my tamales.

There’s reason to think MS. Kagan will follow the same path. Her past writings suggest her confirmation hearings were orchestrated to fool squishy Republicans (Repussycans) like Mrs. Snowe, Sen. Lindsey Graham (hypocrite) of So. Carolina, Sen. Richard Lugar of Indiana and Sen. Susan Collins of Maine.

There will come a time when Kagan will rule against our rights and these SOB senators will have no shame for supporting her. I wish people in their states would vote them out. . . hurry-up Tea-Party people, help get these scumbags out of Washington.

As a Supreme Court clerk, Ms. Kagan wrote that she was “not sympathetic” toward protecting Second Amendment rights. She was also instrumental in developing President Clinton’s (pervert) gun-control regulations during the 1990’s. These positions are far more likely to represent her true views than highly scripted testimony designed to downplay controversial views. . . .  radical maneuvers – too much for the Repussycans.

No senator, Democrat or Republican, can claim he supports gun ownership and then turn around and elevate someone to the nation’s highest court who will work to undermine the fundamental nature of the Second Amendment. A vote for Ms. Kagan (it is done) is a vote for the same nominee who will join with Justce Breyer and Sotomayor to scale back – and try to eliminate – the individual’s right to gun ownership. .  . . end of article. . .

What we have to worry about is the next appointee by President Pinocchio. Justice Ginsburg is sick, others are old, so it’s possible, if we don’t rid ourselves of Pinocchio he’ll have that opportunity. That’s when the communists will dominate the Court for the first time ever. Elections have consequences folks, what better proof than the election of President Pinocchio. He has become a danger to our country and Constitutional Republic. He must be defeated in 2012

The following is worth repeating: -16 AMERICAN JURISPRUDENCE 2nd

Since the Constitution is intended for the observance of the judiciary as well as the other departments of government and the judges are sworn to support its provisions, the courts are not at liberty to overlook or disregard its commands, or countenance evasions thereof. It is their duty in authorized proceedings to give effect to the existing constitution and to obey all constitutional provisions, irrespective of their opinion as to the wisdom or desirability of such provisions, and irrespective of the consequences.

If the constitution prescribes one rule and the statute another and a different rule, it is the duty of the courts to declare that the constitution, and not the statute, governs in cases before them for judgment.

16 AMERICAN JURISPRUDENCE 2nd, 71:

No emergency justifies the violation of any of the provisions of the United States Constitution.

16 AMERICAN JURISPRUDENCE 2nd, 81:

Neither emergency nor economic necessity justifies a disregard of cardinal constitutional guarantees.

16 AMERICAN JURISPRUDENCE 2nd, 82:

Any attempt to do that which is prescribed in the Constitution in any manner other than that prescribed, or to do that which is prohibited is repugnant to that supreme and paramount law and is invalid.

We have allowed the elite who control our government to destroy the separation of powers, which has allowed the third branch of government (judiciary) to rule by fiat. As described by the above, the courts have no constitutional authority to practice “judicial activism.” The Court is now being stacked, just as FDR tried, by extreme radicals to pass his socialistic programs – he didn’t succeed – but it didn’t matter. The communists have had their way ever since. Don’t allow another radical appointed by Pinocchio.

Quote of the day:

“The inherent right in the people to reform their government I do not deny; and they have another right, and that is to resist unconstitutional laws without overturning the government.”
(Daniel Webster)

The rally being held tomorrow in Washington by those that promote Americanism may run into violence. The opposition has also scheduled demonstrations. If there is violence I will blame the communists who control any demonstrations against that which is good for our country. I hope it doesn’t happen. Some hacker got into my web and it cost me 3 hours and almost $300 dollars to remedy. If you return to my web I hope you overdose on Viagra.. . . I love you. America.

ATTACK UPON FAMILY VALUES

The industry leader in degrading our kids

Truth in advertising is good. That’s why it’s time for Viacom, the communications giant chaired by Summer Redstone, to change its name to Vilecom. All the major networks are awash in sex, profanity, violence and attacks on religion. But for sheer creepiness, Viacom wins, hands down.

Let’s start with Nickelodeon, Viacom’s “kid-friendly” network. Nick’s website has a linl to AddictingGames.com, as the Culture and Media Institute reports. There, tykes find Naughty Classroom, Naughty Babbysitter and 29 other Naughty titles. Also, Booty Rider and You Da Sperm! One game, Perry the Perv, is about a peeping Tom. Kids click on icons to strip women down. Naughty Park, for instance, says, “Those three naughty boys are at it again! Help them use Bees, Worms and Puppies in sneaky ways to get a hot jogger undressed!”

Is it any wonder that 8-year-olds make out on the playground? By the time they’re 12, they can barely keep their pants on in this sex-saturated culture. Thanks, Vilecom. Nickelodeon even had the NickJr.com site – for preschoolers – Accessing these games, according to John Brolin of the Campaign for a commercial-Free Childhood, whose protest got the link removed.
Vilecom also runs the homosexual Logo cable network and Comedy Central, which puts profanities in fourth-graders’ mouths in “South Park” and is developing a blasphemous cartoon series, “JC,” depicting Jesus Christ – yes, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords – as a rebellious son of a “powerful but apathetic father.” Thanks, Vilecom.

G.K. Chesterton observed that “sex is the materialist’s religion.” Vilecom is a loud presence in that unholy choir. If someone came into your home and showed your child this stuff, under his raincoat, you’d have him arrested – at the least. But Nickelodeon and MTV hum right along, fueled by ads from Disney, Hamburger Helper and other amoral advertisers.
On June 7, the MTV Movie Awards were strewn with at least 100 profane or obscene words. According to the Culture and Media Institute:

“The network’s censors caught 70 curses. They included 47 variations of ‘f-,’ 11 uses of ‘s-,’ two of ‘a—–,’ one slang for breasts, and nine that were unidentifiable. At least 30 made it past the censors, including nine variations of ‘f—,’ two of ‘s—‘ and one
‘goddamn.’ When confronted, MTV was shocked, shocked and (wink) apologized. The actual awards included: Best Scared-As—S—t Performance, the Biggest Bad-Ass Star and Best WTF Moment. (“WTF” stands for “What the f—-.”) Afterward, MTV premiered “The Hard Times of R.J. Berger,” a disgusting series about a geeky high schooler with abnormally large genitalia who is pursued by hot chicks and married moms. This trash is aimed right at kids. Thanks, Vilecom. For those who say “Lighten up,” consider some of the fallout of our pornified culture:

“Gonorrhea, once in decline, has thoroughly rebounded, with more than 336,000 cases reported in 2008,” writes The Washington Times’ Cheryl Wetzstein. “It disproportionately affects young people and blacks. Untreated gonorrhea increases risks for HIV infection and can lead to infertility. . . .”

Add to that 1.2 million abortions a year (taxpayer paid) and 1.6 million out-of-wedlock births. Syphilis, once nearly eradicated, has made a huge comeback, joined by HIV/AIDS, Chlamydia, (eye disease) human papillomavirus, (genital warts) herpes and more than 25 other sexually transmitted diseases. Condoms, always the proffered answer, are useless against some of these incurable diseases. Ever seen a Vilecom program point that out?

“With 19 million newly reported STD cases each year,” Mrs. Werzstein writes, “…a tsunami of sexual disease is flooding our population. One would think there could be a few more headlines about it.” Or perhaps Vilecom’s Mr. Redstone might cease using his empire to corrupt kids. He’d need a change of heart or, like the tin man, any heart.

When asked if sex-saturated fare was partly to blame for social ills, he quipped, “Sexuality doesn’t bother me; does it bother you? I don’t consider that gross.” Perhaps some close-ups of aborted children or the ravages of STDs now epidemic among teens and 20-somethings might change that. . . end of article… and you thought communism was dead . . .

In an earlier article I wrote about the time I took my grandson to see the movie, E.T. The theater was full of children, mesmerized by E.T. who I thought resembled Jimmy Carter. A scene showed a mother in the kitchen cooking for the kids. Suddenly, when mom walked by the table, one of the kids reached out and grabbed her buttocks. I looked around and everyone I saw was laughing – enjoying the scene. My grandson looked my way and I said, “Justin. Some parents fail to teach right from wrong at home. Others do. You don’t do that because you are an extension of me… and I think that is disrespectful towards women – comprendido?” “Yes – Tata.” After we left the theater we went for dinner to celebrate his 30th birthday. That obscene display wasn’t necessary for ticket sales. Shouldn’t you consider boycotting some sponsors?

Ever since the ‘60s when the communists began taking over most all of our institutions America started on the road to immorality. Of what good is it when parents at home teach one way and children are taught differently at school and in the wasteland called television? You take kids to a movie rated for the young and then the previews of coming attractions show excerpts of x-rated movies. We are to blame. Sometimes it can’t be helped. Because of the following:
When intentional inflation prevented the breadwinner unable to sustain the family, it forced the housewife out to the job market to help meet expenses. The kids were left alone at home with the remote control. Since then, social engineers have had a field day molding young minds.

Back to the health crisis in our country. Much disease is brought over by the thousands upon thousands of people crossing our borders illegally infested with TB, Leprosy, Aids, . . . you name it. No wonder hospitals are going broke. With President Pinocchio on the verge of granting amnesty, do you believe those joining their loved ones granted amnesty will be checked before coming in – by the millions? We have criminals running our government and I say it’s being done intentionally to destroy our way of life.
Of all our problems – the war – the deficit – illegal legislation – communists in our government – I believe granting outright amnesty (never mind the hoops they will supposedly be made to go through) will change America forever. America cannot afford this invasion being promoted by the worst administration ever.

Americans, you still have the opportunity to stop it. Get on the phone and call everyone you know in state and out of state – have them call their representatives (mostly Chaoscrats i.e., Democrats) and tell them if they allow it they will feel your wrath. . . I love you, America.

Quote of the day

“I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts.” (Abraham Lincoln)

Did you believe my 30-year-old grandson story? – I didn’t either.

KEEPING THE COFFERS OF THE ELITE FULL

On August 25, 2010, in Frank Trejo, by TRAYHO

Italics are mine – Frank Trejo – Yesterday’s News Today

The following by Willis A. Carto publisher of The Barnes Review magazine based in Washington D.C. The article appeared in the American Free Press 8-9-2010

We’ve Said it Before

So now we are told that at least 92,000 documents bearing on America’s morbid Afghanistan adventure have been put on the Internet by people who have the strange idea that as taxpayers and blood donors they should know what their alien federal government is doing to them. What’s that? Do you believe America’s controlled media keep you up to date on what’s happening in Afghanistan – or anywhere else in the world, for that matter? If you do, you can’t be a reader of AFP.

Because our record shows that right from the start – even before – we have nailed our government’s invasion of that sovereign country as another no-win loser, and our intervention as being propelled by shadowy forces (the elite sponsored organizations who have members in the media and embedded in most important government positions) very much behind the scenes – and not apt to be mentioned by any of those wise-guys talking heads on television or political actors in Congress, the White House or anywhere else.

Many years ago there existed a chart that showed all the names of people who belonged to the Trilateral Commission; Council on Foreign Relations – both Rockefeller organizations. Of the supposedly nine families that own the Federal Reserve the Rockefellers is one. So is Goldman Sachs. The list on the chart had hundreds of names of those who worked in all our institutions. When Bush 1 was accused of being a Trilateral member in his bid for the presidency he dropped out of the club. You can find Trilaterals and Council Relations members in most administrations who  manipulate foreign policy, which many times has led to war. . . article continues. . .

As of July 29 – the latest date for which figures are available – 1,196 American men and boys and girls have been killed in this stinking, needless carnage plus any thousands ore who will bear psychological or physical scars for the rest of their lives. And if that’s not bad enough, Congress just passed by a vote of 308 to 114 a war spending bill totaling nearly $59 billion. The press characterized this last-minute measure as a “major funding increase” to pay for, among other things, the 30,000 additional U.S. troops Obama is sending to the mountainous country. . . guess who is pulling the strings?

And for what? To defend our borders, or otherwise make our country a better place to live in? Far from it. As Gen. Smedley Butler said, war is a racket; and this one is paying big dividends to the airplane, tank, cannon and ammo manufacturers, not to mention the banks and other enterprises that supply the billions of dollars in everything armies and navies need. The great patriots promoting this debacle can be found on street corners ringing a bell and holding out a tin cup for you to throw your hard-earned dollars into.

After waving the flag and singing The Star Spangled Banner for awhile, they will retire to their boardrooms and find some other God-forsaken pesthole they can send patriotic young men (and women) to get their empty heads blown off. . .

I disagree with the last part of the statement. (“empty heads”) They are citizens who believe they are doing the right thing for our country but the statement implies that they are stupid. All they need is the truth – which is non-existent in the controlled press and academia. . . article continues . . .

Yes, these scum (war mongers) love war, no matter if it’s unconstitutional, illegal, genocidal, clearly against the interest of our country and requires the bankrupting of America. Profit is the important thing. What is truly hard to understand is that no one besides us and a few other relatively small outlets (tamale maker) ever looks at what is happening with serious thoughts about the wisdom of it all. No one of importance or serious influence stands back and evaluates what is happening in a broad context. We hear a lot of detail about Afghanistan but nothing else. Isn’t it about time that we, the people, stop this criminal madness? Isn’t time to arrest these profiteers and hang them? If not, how bad will it get before the fed-up taxpayers and potential cannon fodder to do just that? . . . end of article

If Republicans win control I still wouldn’t trust the Congress. The elite will still be the power. Longevity in office depends on campaign contributions and you tell me one SOB who will refuse a “bribe.” It is too late for a revolution as described above. Plans are already in place to stop any insurrection by people. You think the elite haven’t thought of this? The proper way of correcting this treasonous behavior by politicians is in the Constitution – if the criminals don’t get rid of it, soon.

The answer is found in the Declaration of Independence. It’s given us a way of doing it by the Amendment process in the Constitution – Article 5. It is there for us to correct and better things – just as we have 17 times since the original Bill of Rights. For too long the Constitution has been ignored. Of what good is the ethics committee in Congress when crimes are committed everyday? Representatives Rangel and Waters are being paraded in front of the committee to make the Chaoscrat Party look good before the elections. Where was it when all the crooked deals were going on during the Health-care debate? What we need IS TO DEMAND that politicians obey our laws.

                                                                            FAITH – FAMILY – FREEDOM

We need a movement of fair-minded clear-headed people who still believe in the U.S. Constitution. People who thank God; who have respect and love for those who sacrificed their lives for our great country. We need people who respect and cherish the family foundation. They are people of moral and patriotic character who still get goose-bumps upon hearing patriotic music and honor the meaning of the flag. The media attacks people who believe in law and order and have respect for others while exercising their fundamental right to assemble. It has become an enemy to America.
It is the Tea Party who fits the mold of pro-America. I am not advocating a third party – it is a waste. Of the two parties in power the GOP is more susceptible to change. This is why it’s important to vote for those being endorsed by the Tea Party. As it grows, and it will, its rallying cry should be – “
Faith – Family – Freedom.”

The coming elections are the do or die time as a nation in our history. We must capture at least the House. We’ll come close to grasping control away from the criminals in the Senate but both victories would save our country from communism. I’m not afraid to use that word as many conservatives are in radio. Socialism has been around for a long time but now government has been communised. What else is it when many businesses in the private sector are being taken over? What else is it when criminally adopted legislation is shoved down our throats? What else is it when judges overruled the voice of the people? What else is it when government spends hundreds of billions bailing out the same people that have enslaved us economically? What else is it when government purposely allows open borders for potential voters in the near future? Why is government suing Arizona for wanting to correct this treasonous lack of immigration enforcement?. . . I could spend hours bitching about this but I’ve run out of beer. . .gotta go. . . I love you, America.

Quote of the day:

Truth is the only anti-dote for the poison of that which is false. The U.S. government has used misinformation to deceive the American people. These masses have become the unwitting source of power for Politicians, Judges, Prosecutors and IRS Agents. This is bringing about the wholesale plunder of the United States by its own government.”(Unknown)

A GOP VICTORY – THEN WHAT?

On August 24, 2010, in Frank Trejo, by TRAYHO

Italics are mine – Frank Trejo – Yesterday’s News Today

Should the Republicans win in November I trust they have learned the lessons of  mistakes they made the last time. Even though Congress was ruled by Chaoscrats some Repussycrats should have demanded President Bush veto much of the spending by Chaoscrats and Republicans. Unfortunately, Repussycrats had resorted back to behaving like Chaoscrats. That, coupled with the vicious attack by the controlled press and the never-ending assaults by the Chaoscrats. The masses took the bait. The GOP was doomed.

The following by John J. Pitney Jr. appeared in the Wall Street Journal of 8-23-2010. He teaches American politics at Claremont McKenna College and is co-author of “
American Government and Politics: Deliberation, Democracy, and Citizenship.”

The GOP and the Temptation of Hubris

Republicans could still blow it, but as they head toward a likely victory in the midterm election they should consider what it would mean to regain control of the House of Representatives. The perks are great. Several other aspects of power are less enjoyable.

First of all, power means visibility. In “Lessons Learned the Hard Way,” Newt Gingrich wrote: “If you are seldom covered by the press, which was the case with House Republicans for forty years, you have a lot of leeway to make mistakes. But when you are in the people’s living rooms every evening, your mistakes are modified.” For the last couple of years, Democrats have gained little from attacking House GOP leaders, since few voters know or care who those leaders are. Once they are in power, they will also be in the bull’s eye.

Power means temptation. In 2006, Republicans lost their majority partly because of scandals. (compared to Choascrats?) Their minority status has since been a moral safeguard of sorts, because smart crooks don’t bribe politicians who lack the ability to do anything. When Republicans gain committee chairs and the capacity to pass bills, they will suddenly find lots of new friends offering favors. They will also be tempted to demand such favors as the price of doing business. But sooner or later, bad behavior brings political ruin – or worse: The last time Republicans were in power, Duke Cunningham’s “bribe menu” helped land him in prison, where he still sits.

We need some kind of a safeguard mechanism to oversee any wrong doing other than the “ethic committee.” A full time Special Prosecutor with subpoena power, perhaps? Or my simplistic suggestion of a National Grand Jury made up of 50 people (one from each state) who would meet once per year – a week or two in Washington – with power to impeach any wrong doing. The impeachment would be immediate. There would be no interference by the three branches of government. The Congress would be stripped of its impeachment power. The President of the United States would lose the authority to pardon. Both constitutional duties have been corrupted. History proves to us that U.S. Attorney Generals can be just as corrupt. Witness what we have now. We must stop this unaccountability by the criminals in government. . . article continues . . .

Power means frustration. Right after their 1994 takeover, House Republicans underestimated obstacles in the Senate and overlooked the little matter of the presidential veto. “Even if you pass something through both the House and the Senate there is that presidential pen,” Mr. Gingrich wrote in “Lessons Learned.” ‘How could we have forgotten that?” Republicans talk about repealing President Obama’s health-care legislation. He would surely veto a repeal, and there is practically no chance the Republicans could muster a two-thirds majority in both chambers to override the veto. What would they do then?

Let this tamale vendor tell you what to do. STOP FUNDING THE PRESIDENT’S PROGRAMS! Many have forgotten that Congress controls the purse strings and the White House would be forced to play ball. What is he – a King? He’s your Goddamn office manager! That’s the kind of Republicans I want in Congress. I well remember many times the Congress in control by Chaoscrats during committee hearings they would literally tell the Republicans to shut up. Even today often times they bar Republicans from meetings when Chaoscrats are devising criminal legislation. As smart as Gingrich is, he’s too much of an insider. He’s the type of Republican I wouldn’t trust. He’s the kind of Republican you’re apt to hear say something like this: “And my esteem colleague on the other side of the aisle”. . . CHAOSCRATS DON’T DESERVE ANY RESPECT! Not every one of them, but most are despicable lying SOBs.

Power means internal conflict. While commentators often portray the House Republicans as unified and disciplined, the image is inaccurate. A couple of years after leading them to victory, Mr. Gingrich had to put down an internal coup by members unhappy with his leadership. The problem was not merely his personality. The party has long grappled with deep rifts over strategies, tactics, regional interests and schools of conservative thought.

Gaining a majority this autumn could deepen the rifts, because the stakes will be greater. The large cohort of new members will include social moderates, religious conservatives and tea party activists who will have much to fight about.

Power means loss of perspective. Majorities often mistakenly believe that a loving electorate has given them a warrant to do anything they desire. (not if the Tea-Party got him/her elected – they will demand accountability) There will always be aides and lobbyists who will reinforce this belief by telling powerful politicians what they want to hear. Such attitudes lead to trouble. Moves such as the Clinton impeachment backfired on the GOP, and healthcare legislation is now hurting the Democrats.

Clinton’s impeachment was a success. (the House impeaches) It is the despicable Chaoscrats in the Senate that saved Clinton. He should have been thrown out of office for desecrating OUR WHITE HOUSE by his perverted way. So, in my opinion the GOP didn’t fail – Chaoscrats shamed the party members back home.
. . article continues. . .

Above all, power means responsibility. (in Congress?) As political scientist William F. Connelly Jr. reminds us in his splendid new book, “James Madison rules America,” no party in the U.S. Congress is ever simply the “opposition.” Like it or not, a Republican majority will have to work with the president to pass budgets and conduct the routine business of government. . . no, no, Mr. Pitney – it’s a two-way street. If the president doesn’t want to play ball, take it to the public – just as President Reagan did.

As the 1995-1996 government shut downs (Repussycans cowered) showed, failure can cause enormous political turmoil. And with vastly larger deficits nowadays Congress’s responsibilities will be heavy indeed. Republicans hold the keys to majority status in their hands. They won’t like everything that’s on the other side of the door. . . end of article . .

Most incumbents don’t abide by the Constitution. As a matter of fact, The Speaker of the House laughs about it – caught on tape. This denial of the law has led to chaos and a sense of insecurity that shouldn’t be. We have criminals running our government.

With the keys in GOP hands it can be successful. It can be successful because the keys can unlock the door. And what’s on the “other side”? The answer is the U.S. Constitution to be found behind the door.  We must have constitutional government.. . . take it from a tamale vendor. . . Remember – Faith – Family – Freedom. . .  I love you, America.

Quote of the day:

“The breath of Freedom is blowing through every main street in America. It is resuscitating the profound meaning of liberty. Any thing liberalism does, conservatism can do better.”

ANOTHER MIRACLE? SOWELL SAYS IT BETTER

On August 22, 2010, in Frank Trejo, by TRAYHO

Italics are mine – Frank Trejo – Yesterday’s News Today

In my article (Socialists and Communists Hard at Work) I asked for another miracle to save our country from within. Thomas Sowell in this article posted 3-9-2009 says it a lot better than I do.  It appeared in the Washington Times.

Nation in need of another miracle

An increasing number of letters and e-mails from readers strike a note, not only of unhappiness with the way things are going in our society, but a note of despair. Those of us that are pessimists are only a step away from despair ourselves, so we may not be the ones to offer the best antidote to the view that America has seen its best days and is degenerating toward what may well be its worst. Yet what hope remains, is no less precious nor any less worthy of being preserved.

First of all, the day-to-day life of most Americans in these times is nowhere near as dire as that of the band of cold, ragged and hungry men who gathered around George Washington in the winter at Valley Forge, to which they had been driven by defeat after defeat. Only the most reckless gambler would have bet on them to win. Only an optimist would have expected them to survive.

Against the background of those and other desperate ties that this country has been through, we cannot whine today because the stocks in our pension plans have gone down or the inflated value that our houses had just a few years ago has now evaporated. In another sense, however, looming ahead of us – and our children and their children – are dangers that can utterly destroy American society. Worse yet, there are moral corrosion within ourselves that weaken our ability to face the challenges ahead.

It was the Chaoscrats in Congress who were responsible for our economic crash these past few years. They had been warned by the Bush administration numerous times about the corruption going on at Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae –it was ignored. The bribes accepted by Senator Dodd and U.S. Representative Barney Frank as well as others was the inducement to look the other way. We must make campaign contributions a crime. The Supreme Court can go to hell – it’s our government and not the judges.  . . . article continues. . .

One of the any symptoms of this decay from within is that we are preoccupied with the pay of corporate executives while the leading terrorist-sponsoring nation on earth is moving steadily toward creating nuclear bombs. Does anyone imagine that we will care what anyone’s paycheck is when we see an American city in radioactive ruins? Yet the only serious obstacle to that happening is that the Israelis may disregard the lofty blather coming out of the White House and destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities before the Iranian fanatics can destroy Israel.

President Pinocchio’s inexperience (except on the streets of Chicago) has become a danger to America. More people are beginning to voice the same opinion. The controlled press could have done our country a big favor in exposing Pinocchio’s lack of experience if only they had leveled with the American people. It wasn’t meant to be – the elite wanted him to win to carry out their agenda of destroying America from within. Pinocchio was their man. John McCain was their choice, they were confident Pinocchio would beat him. . . “and the truth shall make you free…” an old quotation used in the press for many years. Now, they’re ashamed to quote it. . . article continues. . .

If by some miracle we manage to avoid the fatal dangers of a nuclear Iran, there will no doubt be others, including a nuclear North Korea. Although, in some sense, the United States of America is still militarily strongest nation on earth, (not in the hands of a community organizer) that means absolutely nothing if our enemies are willing to die and we are not. It took only two nuclear bombs to get Japan to surrender – and the Japanese of that era were far tougher than most Americans today. Just one bomb – dropped on New York, Chicago or Los Angeles – might be enough to get us to surrender.

If we are still made of sterner stuff than it looks like, then it might take two or maybe even three or four nuclear bombs, but we will surrender. It doesn’t matter if we retaliate and kill millions of innocent Iranian civilians – at least it will not matter to the fanatics in charge of Iran or the fanatics in charge of the international terrorist organizations that Iran supplies. Ultimately, it all comes down to who is willing to die and who is not. How did we get to this point? It was no single thing.

The dumbing down of our education, (10th plank communist manifesto) the undermining of moral values with the fad of “nonjudgmental” affections, the denigration of our nation through poisonous propaganda from the movies to the universities. The list goes on and on. The trajectory of our course leads to a fate that would fully justify despair. The only saving grace is that even the trajectory of a bullet can be changed by the wind.

The “wind” begins at the ballot box. I’d much rather fight the evil forces in our country than face the possibility of nuclear war. We must throw out those communists that dominate the Chaoscratic Party in Congress. I want to believe that many voters in the Chaoscratic Party are clueless as to who they send to Washington. I was one of them until I finally lost hope of the party ever returning to the center of politics. It has been captured by the communists just as most of our institutions. . . while we snored . . . article continues . . .

We have been saved by miraculous good fortune before in our country. The overwhelming military and naval expedition that Britain sent to New York to annihilate George Washington’s army was totally immobilized by a vast impenetrable fog that allowed the Americans to escape. That is how they ended up in Valley Forge.

In the World War 11 naval battle of Midway, if things had not happened just the way they did, at just the time they did, the American naval forces would not only had lost, but could have been wiped out by the far larger Japanese fleet. Over the years, we have had our share of miraculous deliverances. But that our fate today depends on yet another miracle is what can turn pessimism to despair. . . end of article

I wouldn’t call it a miracle, but more like a blessing in disguise, that Pinocchio won the presidency. I say this because he has exposed to the American people what socialism/communism is. It also exposed the workings of the controlled press. More people are now aware of the influence schools have upon our children. We now understand what is meant by “judicial activism.” More people now know that corruption in Congress is a daily occurrence. Thank God for organizations like FOX News and conservative talk radio shows to keep us informed.

The one thing that bothers me is the possibility that this administration will do something that will create havoc which will give it an excuse to declare martial law. The clues are already present. Reckless spending – unwarranted – which appears heading towards a depression. Dangerous foreign policy. A possible Executive Order to grant amnesty to millions of law breakers which will break our institutions. Unenforced immigration law and wide open borders that could instigate racial strife and infiltration by terrorists who could create terrible acts. A crooked U.S. Attorney General who allows criminal activity that could harm the country. Remember the saying about how power corrupts? I’m just a tamale maker but I understand dangerous power, and this administration is drunk with it and will do any thing to maintain it. . . . I love you, America.

Quote of the day

Either some Caesar or Napoleon will seize the reins of government with a strong hand; or your republic will be as fearfully plundered and laid waste by barbarians in the Twentieth century as the Roman Empire was in the Fifth – with this difference . . . that young Huns and Vandals will have been engendered within your own country by your own institutions. SOCIALISM AND COMMUNISM HARD AT WORK

On August 21, 2010, in Frank Trejo, by TRAYHO

Italics are mine – Frank Trejo – Yesterday’s News Today

The following by Robert Knight in the Washington Times weekly news – 8-16-2010. He authored the following: “Radical Rulers: The White House Elites Who Are Pushing America Toward Socialism.” – (radicalrulers.com, 2010)

Media propagandists morph morality

The word “ban” is negative. Like “taboo,” the term offends modern sensibilities trained to be ever more accepting of any envelope-pushing behavior. That’s why the media describe California’s Proposition 8 constitutional marriage law as a “ban,” not the codification of something positive and timeless.  The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) has been misreported for years as the “federal ban on gay marriage.” So when “smarter than God” federal Judge Joseph L, Tauro in Massachusetts dispatched DOMA on July, the media thundered as one: “Judge Strikes Down Gay Marriage Ban.”

Similarly, in California, federal Judge Vaughn R. Walker was widely reported to have struck down the state’s “ban on gay marriage” in his Aug. 4 ruling. The New York Times out it this way: “Court Rejects Same-Sex Marriage Ban in California.” Actually, Judge Walker took his activist ax to the meaning of marriage itself and the meaning of representative democracy in a free republic.

We don’t have a representative democracy nor a free republic. Democracy is the worst form of government according to many wise persons. It is mob rule, as this despicable judge demonstrates. If we were a “free republic” we wouldn’t be enslaved economically to the International Bankers that own the Federal Reserve. We wouldn’t have a Congress and White House who are dominated by criminals, socialists and communists that run OUR GOVERNMENT unconstitutionally. . . article continues. . .

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, not known for its sagacity, still should declare this mess a monumental abuse of discretion that shocks even its stunned conscience. The liberal media (enemy) are crowing that the death knell of marriage as we know it is a sweet, sweet song. The Washington Post called the Prop. 8 campaign “mean-spirited,” and said “It is hard to quarrel with the conclusions of the federal judge” that, as the Post phrases it, traditional marriage serves no “legitimate public policy purpose.”

Really? That would be news to millions of voters and legislators in 45 states who have worked hard to strengthen their marriage laws. Or to the 342 congressmen and 85 senators, plus President Clinton, who enacted the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996. They did all this out of hatred, according to Post columnist Eugene Robinson, who writes triumphantly: “Bigotry has suffered a grievous blow.”

I’ve said it in the past and I’ll say again. The hidden agenda is to destroy the family as we know it. The purpose of this attack is to make the State (the nanny-state, if I may) the answer to everything. Every relationship between two people will be governed by bureaucrats. Any children between two people will belong to the State. As a matter of fact, it already is. Any child may pick up the phone and call CPS to accuse the parents of child abuse, whether true or not. Children are taught in school differently then what parents at home teach. Imagine using a banana as a teaching tool and applying a “rubber” over it – “safe-sex” without parents knowing it. I read a long time ago that a marriage license is a “privilege” granted by the State. Any thing resulting from that granted privilege belongs in the jurisdiction of the State. Just another example on our way, slowly, to being communized while we’re watching “Dancing with the Stars.” . . . article continues. . .

Well, something has suffered a grievous blow. That would be truth itself. Pretending that a bride-less or groom-less union is a marriage is a fantasy cooked up in hell. The devil is laughing, but not at marriage defenders, who still irk him. He’s convulsing with mirth at the lengths to which the intelligentsia will go to deny the obvious. The media have turned the meaning of marriage on its head. Calling the law a “ban” says its only purpose is to discriminate against homosexuals. By this reasoning, any law or policy that defines something is a “ban.”

But a license to practice law or medicine is not a “ban” on those without law or medical degrees. It is recognition of the holder’s qualifications. A state’s requirements for a driver’s license are not a “ban” on the underage or the untrained. Marriage as a union of a man and woman predates all other human institutions. It was not created to annoy homosexuals. Marriage laws exclude all but one man and one unrelated woman.

Yet I have not seen any media report the demise of the “incest ban,” or the “polygamy ban” or the “bestiality ban.” Just because homosexual activists have led the assault is not an excuse to pretend that marriage has only the purpose of excluding them. Language is important. It’s why abortion proponents use “choice” instead of the name of the odious practice, and why “homosexual” morphed into “gay.”

“Partial-birth abortion.” Sounds all right in medical terms but what they do to the unborn is pull his head out and make a hole in the nape and suck the brains out. Happens to perfectly formed babies, too. This is what liberals, communists, and many Chaoscrat representatives in political positions have done to childbirth – it’s called infanticide. And to think our tax money funds a great portion of Planned Parenthood. . .  article continues.

It’s why “smut” has become the friendlier-sounding “porn” or “erotica.” These terms mislead people away from considering the behavior and deliver them safely into the abstract. That’s where volitional, immoral practices can be equated falsely with God-given, unalienable rights protected in the U.S. Constitution. The next time you see someone cite the “ban on gay marriage,” it’s the work of radical cultural activists (communists) – or someone dancing to their tune. . . end of article

Should the U.S. Supreme Court rule against “our understanding of marriage law” it will be time for us to pick up the “pitch-forks” and let government know that we are the boss of this country, not of the radicals. For too long we have been pushed around by the extremists in our country. For too long we have allowed schools to indoctrinate our young towards socialism. For too long we have allowed Congress to rule unconstitutionally. For too long we have allowed the separation of powers to stay broken. For too long we have allowed judges to rule contrary to the Constitution.. And for too long those that preach Christianity have remained too silent too long. People in the clergy, get off your bottoms and do something about it. Never mind what the IRS says – that you can’t preach politics from the pulpit – it’s just more bullshit from the communists in government.

There is one viable hope. Uniting Third Parties and the Tea-Party movement. Never mind the constant attacks by the communists in the media and networks. Third party votes have proven time, and again, that they do more harm than good. Combining the two is a win- win situation. The Chaoscrats with all the misfits in our society will be mounting an attack at the ballot box never seen before. They will commit as much ballot fraud as they can. Most all union thugs and the “New Black Panther” party will be out in force committing what they do best – intimidating the public. Difference being this time – they have the White House behind them. Don’t let it happen – fight back, Americans! Throw out all Democrats.

Words from my soul:

We are at a moment in history when we must pray for a modern-day miracle as granted by God for the faith and courage our forefathers displayed fighting the British to save our country. The moment is critical. We must reach to the ends of our souls and pray for strength and commitment needed to save America one more time from the destruction within.

With all our ignorance; societal problems; a people divided; near bankruptcy; a criminal government, we haven’t lost our love and faith in you, America. God finished the world map with you. As a country, you’ve given us the gift of life, freedom, and liberty. Your birth certificate i.e., the United States Constitution has lived up to its promise. Contrary to what some may think, you still breathe. You deserve respect and support. Now it is our turn. We shall come to your aid in November. . . I love you, America.

Quote of the day

“If the policy of the government upon vital questions affecting the whole people is to be fixed by decisions of the Supreme Court, then the people will have ceased to be their own rulers.”

JUDGES, PROSECUTORS EARN EXTRA MONEY

On August 20, 2010, in Frank Trejo, by TRAYHO

Italics are mine – Frank Trejo – Yesterday’s News Today.

The following is from the American Free Press (1-888-699-6397. Web www.americanfreepress.net) Written by Pat Shannan.

Payoffs for Judges, Prosecutors Is Legal by Statute

Anyone who has ever attended an IRS court case likely noticed the biased attitude of the presiding judge in favor of the prosecution. Perhaps, though, only those of us who have sat in courtrooms, in every section of the country, can attest to this unwavering pattern of unfairness. Whatever happened to the judge’s impartial role of “referee?” Federal statutes show how and why U.S. law encourages prosecutorial and judicial conflicts of interest, non-neutrality, non-impartiality and corruption of justice in the federal courts.

When I was following the “tax-rebels” in the ‘70s I learned quite a bit of how judges and prosecutors were denying the right of citizen’s justice in the courts. Many were destroyed and others sent to prison. The rebels (present-day tea-partiers) had discovered that the income tax laws were based on deception. They learned that the Federal Reserve was a private corporation. They learned that the 16th Amendment was never ratified. And above all, they learned that we had a criminal system being run by a two-party system that was beholden to the elite of the world and who ignored the U.S Constitution.

So, the rebels started raising hell. The criminal system would never allow any citizen to expose it. It’s not that it was a giant conspiracy by everyone. This is what bureaucrats learned in school and in government, and the media kept people ignorant, scared of the government especially the IRS. The criminal system had to be protected at all costs – even if it meant destroying the Bill of Rights. Without the IRS the International bankers could never collect the interest owed to them by government. That is why the IRS was created and why the courts were used as a weapon against the truth. . . article continues.

How can the federal judiciary be independent and impartial when the law permits the federal government to secretly award judges up to $25,000 in undisclosed secret “cash awards,” and to privately, secretly and “erroneously” overpay them up to $10,000, and “waive” these erroneous over payments? How can any defendant be found innocent or “guilty beyond a reasonable doubt” when such statutory “cash award” provisions on their face create an irrefutable, behind-the-scene incentive for the prosecution?

These questions and others must be answered by the U.S. District Court in Portland, Oregon following a lawsuit naming multiple defendants in the Department of Justice including Judge Anna J. Brown, who presided over a trial of “conspiracy to impede the IRS” last November. Defendant Roy Bendshadler’s attorney Nancy Bergeson had complained of suspected “jury tampering” and was found strangled to death in her Portland home the next day. Her cause of death was at first passed off as “natural causes” until a second medical examiner changed it to homicide. The murder is unsolved.
The 94-page action was filed by Michael Sean Mungovan, one of the five convicted in the above 2009 case. Mungovan was sentenced to four years in prison on July 28. This was an hour after he had served Judge Brown with a copy of the suit, which should have legally restricted her from any sentencing action over him until it was resolved, according to Mungovan. None of this is new to the IRS. Its manual on pages 1,229 to 1,291 (Delegation Orders of January 17, 1983) outlines the IRS system of monetary rewards “of up to and including $5,000, for any one individual employee or group of employees, in his/her immediate office, including field employees, engaged in National Office projects, and contributions of employees of other government agencies and armed forces members.” This would include U.S. District Court judges and U.S attorneys.

Could this be the reason why judges rule in favor of that which benefits the left? (communists) The recent decision by a single judge (homosexual) to rule against proposition 8 in California is a good example. Radical groups find judges that’ll do its bidding. The attack upon Arizona’s SB1070 by a leftist judge has led President Pinocchio to file a federal law suit against Arizona State and a Maricopa County Sheriff. Something terrible is happening to our “nation of law and order.” It’s been going on for a long time while we were watching sports and soap operas. . . article continues

The Mungovan suit, composed by Utah lawyer Dr. Dale Livingston, explains, “These awards include secret cash awards. They are not limited as to the number of awards that may be awarded to any one person or group. There is no limitation placed upon any award. Any person or group of persons can be awarded this money, including: U.S. attorneys, federal judges, the president of the United States or anyone else for that matter.”

Livingston added: “The awards may be given to the same person or group, each minute, each hour, every day, every week, every month, every year or not at all. In other words, the U.S. government and the alleged IRS . . .have a perfectly legal (not lawful) system of bribery. The bribery works against the American people . . . when they expect impartial justice, and there is no proof on the record to the contrary.”

The murder of attorney Bergeson, who only threatened to initiate an investigation into what she believed to have been a stacked jury, sends the warning that Mungovan, by forcing the issue, may have placed a much larger target on his back. Lack of space here prevents this writer’s attempt to list all the negative ramifications of such a surreptitious program posing as “justice for all,” but let us consider for a moment a few of the many dubious convictions from the recent decades reported in AFP and The Spotlight over the years.

How much money did Judge Paul Benson receive for railroading Yori Kahl and Scott Faul in 1983? There was no evidence these young men ever fired a shot in the melee in Medina, North Dakota, where Yori’s father, Gordon, admitted shooting U.S. Marshall Ken Muir in self-defense. Later it was learned this was the same judge that had sent away Leonard Peltier of Wounded Knee fame for life, with  no evidence he had killed the two FBI agents found dead after the 1973 shootout. Are judges paid more for high-profile cases? How about Judge Walter Smith of Waco, Texas? We cannot imagine how many bucks he may have received after sending away 11 Branch Davidian Church members, who had been acquitted by a jury of capital crimes in 1994, not long after the Waco massacre of men, women and children by federal agents and troops. These 11 churchgoers received a total of 240 years. These outrageous maximum sentences for merely carrying a firearm were applied against people who had not even fired a shot in self-defense at the onrushing U.S marshals, U.S. military Special Forces soldiers and other federal gunmen.

These atrocities by government have occurred numerous times in our history. The one in Waco was horrible. What galls me is the attitude of then U. S. Attorney General Janet Reno (Clinton Administration). When the dust settled she proudly boasted that the “buck stopped” with her. It was a problem the State should’ve handled. But no, the federal government wanted to show a state of force to keep others in society in fear of government. . .article continues…

Then there were the Montana Freeman, who were labeled as “separatist outlaws” (By the lap dogs of the elite in the media). In 1996 they were working to expose the banking fraud of the Federal Reserve System. Many of these men are still in federal prison, (political prisoners) yet they never harmed anyone. Cash incentives paid for convictions help us understand not only what has happened in the past, but also what we can expect in the future. . .end of article . . . it almost brings tears to my eyes to think there are still bureaucrats who make life miserable for citizens who mean well and for the ones that were destroyed by rogue judges who are still in prison.

Also from the same issue in the American Free Press

Federal Bribery Sanctioned in U.S. Legal Code

Judicial independence is supposed to be “one of the crown jewels of our system of government.” The actual wording of the law follows:

5 U.S.C. § 4502 General Provisions, provides for payments to Federal employees. The payment and incentive provisions with respect to 5 U.S.C § 4502 is summarized as follows:

5 U.S.C. § 4502 General Provisions

Payment of $10,000 – Payment of $25,000
Acceptance constitutes agreement by employee – Amounts determined by Sections 4503, & 4504 – Award additional time-off from duty- no loss of compensation – Other incentives under the sub section (b) by Secretary of Defense.

5 U.S.C § 4503 – Agency awards, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit C-1 – The head of an agency may pay a cash award to, and incur necessary expense for the honorary recognition of, an employee who:

(1) By his suggestion, invention, superior accomplishment, or other personal effort contributes to the efficiency, economy, or other improvement of Government operations or achieves a significant reduction in paperwork; or (2) Performs a special act or service in the public interest in connection with or related to his official employment.

5 U.S.C. § 4504 -  Presidential awards, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit C-1. The President may pay a cash award to, an incur necessary expense for the honorary recognition of, an employee who:

(1) By his suggestion, invention, superior accomplishment, or other personal effort contributes to the efficiency, economy, or other improvement of Government operations or achieves a significant reduction in paper work; or (2) Perform an exceptionally meritorious special act or service in the public interest in connection with or related to his official employment. A Presidential award may be given in addition to an agency award under 5 U.S.C. § 4503

Editorial comment: 5 U.S.C. § 7342(a)(6)(C) reveals that the Administrative Office of the United States Courts is the “employing agency” for “judges and judicial branch employees.” This includes judges of all United States Courts of Appeals, all United States District Courts, the Court of International Trade; The Claims Court; and the District Courts in Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands and the Virgin Islands. So the law states that these specific categories of federal judges can receive “cash awards” of up to $25,000. [See 28 U.S.C. § 602 and Administrative Office of the United States Courts Personnel Act of 1990. Section 3(a)(1).] . . .end of 2nd article

Article 11 Se. 1 para 7: This has to do with the presidents pay…”…and he shall not receive within that period (in office) any other Emolument (like money – bribes) The same applies to the Congress: Article 1 Sec. 9 para 8. How the same doesn’t apply to judges is a mystery to me. A judge is conducting a trial that is high-profile (involving the government) and swings it his way, viola! He picks up thousands in extra pay. What the criminals in Congress have done is made bribery legal. The same Congress through the years in collusion with the U.S. Supreme Court has made campaign contributions legal using the excuse that money is “free speech.” What is that old saying “We get the government we deserve.” I’m embarrassed for our ignorance. So, as far as I’m concerned all monies beyond the compensation of bureaucrats is a bribe – that holds true for judges – never mind the above "statutes."’

One last reminder. The word Emolument in the Constitution means what it says – money exchanging hands. No Act or Statute by government, not in harmony with what the Constitution says can change that, only you via the amendment process – Article 5

Should the GOP control the House again the Republican that will head the committee that has the power to go after criminals has said he will. Roll up your sleeve,s voters – WE MUST WIN CONTROL AGAIN. I love you, America.

I AM SORRY I HAVE ONLY ONE BAT TO SWING FOR MY COUNTRY.

RESISTING FEDERAL TYRANNY

On August 19, 2010, in Frank Trejo, by TRAYHO

Italics are mine – Frank Trejo – Yesterday’s News Today

THE RYAN REPORT by Vince Ryan. Associated with American Free Press. Article appeared in the 8-9-2010 issue of the AFP.

Nullification: Resisting Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century

Nullification, by Thomas E. Woods Jr., belongs in every serious American’s library and deserves to be read and referenced as an aid for dealing effectively and constitutionally with a federal government run wild. It is important to understand that the people do not need constitutional authority to act. Government does. For example, where in the Constitution does the government have the power to force the people to buy medical insurance?

The term “nullification” originated with Thomas Jefferson in his Kentucky Resolutions of 1798, when he noted that the Alien and Sedition acts unconstitutionally banned criticism of the president. Note that the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution reads: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

According to Woods, “Nullification begins with the axiomatic point that a federal law that violates the Constitution is no law at all It is void and of no effect. Nullification simply pushes this uncontroversial point a step further: if a law is unconstitutional and therefore void and of no effect, it is up to the states, the parties to the federal compact, to declare it so and thus refuse to enforce it. It would be foolish and vain to wait for the federal government or a branch thereof to condemn its own law. Nullification provides a shield between the people of a state and an unconstitutional law from the federal government.”

It is ridiculous to have the federal judiciary decide a dispute between the states and the federal government because it is a branch of the federal government and cannot preside over its own case, a clear absurdity, the author notes. “All over the country today, state legislators are introducing measures by which their states would refuse to enforce laws that violate the Constitution. Two dozen states nullified the REAL ID Act of 2005. The act proposed standardization and centralization of identification procedures. This legislation aroused the opposition of both fiscal conservatives, who resented another unfunded federal mandate imposed on the states and civil libertarians, who raised privacy concerns. . . .”

Due to the states’ stiff resistance, the government gave up trying to enforce it. Nullification can and does work, though we must watch for back-door efforts to enact schemes like REAL ID. This is what President Pinocchio will attempt to do with amnesty – the plan is afoot.

Woods was surprised to read that “a February 2010 Rasmussen Reports poll found that 59 percent of likely voters believe the states have the right to opt out of federal government programs of which they disapprove. Just 25 percent disagree, while another 15 percent are not sure.”

Woods says, “This is not exactly the same thing as nullification, which involves the refusal to enforce unconstitutional laws, not simply laws the states do not like. But these numbers are significant all the same.” Today, Woods adds, seemingly important matters “are rushed through Congress on the spurious ground that desperate times call for reckless measures: NAFTA, WTO, bailout of the Mexican Peso, the PATRIOT Act, the Wall Street bailouts and the fiscal stimulus bill of 2009.

Some of this is blamed on the small number of members per capita there are in Congress. In 1790 there was one House member for every 30,000 people. In 1920 the size of the House was capped at 435 members when the population was 90 million, and by 2010 the population was nearly 309 million. That’s one representative per 710,345 people. In 1790 this ratio would have meant about four people in the House. Were the old ratio observed today, there would be 10,300 members in the House.” . . .just think, pork would be in the trillions.

John C. Calhoun was a leading southern figure in the fight for nullification. He represented South Carolina in the House and Senate and served as vice president under John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson. On July 26, 1831 Calhoun, as vice president  of the United States, defended nullification in his Fort Hill Address:

“This right of interposition, thus solemnly asserted by the State of Virginia . . .I conceive to be the fundamental principle of our system, resting on facts historically as certain as our revolution itself, and deductions as simple . . . as that of any political or moral truth whatever, and I firmly believe that on its recognition depend the stability and safety of our political institutions.”. . .end of article.

Quote of the day:

“As the patriots of Seventy-six did to support of the Declaration of Independence, so to the support of the Constitution and the Laws let every American pledge his life, his property, and his sacred honor; let every man remember that to violate the law is to trample on the blood of his father, and to tear the charter of his own and his children’s liberty.” (Lincoln)

We have traitors and criminals running our government. If we don’t stop them come November you may as well forget about “a nation of laws.” Someone once said, “A reform is a correction of abuses; a revolution is a transfer of power.” Folks, there is a coup going on in our country. The present administration is on the road to a dictatorship. The actions of this president and those that advise him are quite clear. . . we are being led to the upheaval of Americanism and getting closer to communism, by a street thug from Chicago, no less – unbelievable!

There is nothing wrong with immigration law – it is not broken – it is the White House that is broken. If past administrations had enforced immigration law 9-11 would not have happened. Now we have communists running things and want to reform immigration by granting amnesty as if to say it’s the only way to fix it. ENFORCE THE LAWS IN PLACE ALREADY – YOU ASSHOLES! We must not allow any kind of amnesty until the borders are completely sealed and deport those that are mooching off the system. If amnesty is granted the illegal invasion will continue as before. I consider this issue the most important at the present. Never mind the economy and Iran. This one (amnesty) will cause great harm to our country immediately.

One more Quote of the day:

“Mankind can pass directly from capitalism into Socialism, i.e., into social ownership of the means of production and the distribution of products according to the work of the individual. Our party looks further ahead than that: Socialism is bound sooner or later to ripen into Communism, whose banner bears the motto” “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”

America has been socialized for many years. Socialism is the first step before communism – the first step is in the air. Fight back, Americans!

DEPORT CONGRESS AND PRESIDENT PINOCCHIO

The following an editorial of the Washington Times – 8-9-2010

Obama’s immigration back door

The Obama’s administration’s way to deal with the problem of illegal immigration is to declare is illegal. This is the upshot of an 11-page memo from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) about “Administrative alternatives to comprehensive immigration reform.” As the title suggests, it is compendium of backdoor measures the executive branch claims it can take without having to deal with pesky things like congressional authorization.

The Obama administration is seeking “to reduce the threat of removal” for “individuals present in the United States without authorization,” employing the latest euphemism for Illegal aliens. The fact that the government considers removal of people who have crossed the border illegally a “threat” is noteworthy; USCIS apparently considers its statutory obligation to take action against illegal immigration more of a menace than the outlaw migrants themselves.

The memo goes into great detail regarding the numerous ways USCIS could “legally” keep illegals inside the country, including “parole in place,” notices to appear” and “deferred action.” Such actions are usually employed on a case-by-case basis, not en masse. “Deferred action” – or simply not doing anything, as the name suggests – has gained the most attention, since the memo states it is “theoretically possible to grant deferred action to an unrestricted number of unlawfully present individuals” and that this may be “extended indefinitely.” However, bureaucrats also suggest that the use of deferred action on this scale “would likely be controversial.” That’s and understatement.

The Department of Homeland Security ( Janet Napolitano, head of Homeland is a damn liar) maintains that the suggestions in the memo have not yet been adopted as policy, and that “nobody should mistake deliberation and exchange of ideas for final decisions.” DHS also stated that the department “will not grant deferred action or humanitarian parole to the nation’s entire illegal-immigrant population.”

Given the Obama administration’s fondness for abusing the English language to conceal its true intentions, the promise not to parole the “entire” illegal-immigrant population should read literally; if they leave a few out of the mix, they can claim to have kept their word. The question is not whether government can implement the myriad suggestions in the memo, but rather why President Obama is going to such extraordinary and unprecedented lengths to protect millions of people who are in violation of federal law. Instead of searching for obscure ways to keep illegals in the country, USCIS should be making plans to get them out. What part of “illegal alien” or “present without authorization” don’t they understand?

With federal, state and local governments facing financial meltdown, the unemployment rate creeping ever higher, the Mexican army engaging in large scale firefights with drug-gang militias, and parts of American border states becoming no-go areas, Mr. Obama needs to show a different kind of leadership on this issue. But rather than securing the border by enforcing the law, Mr. Obama is suing states that try to ameliorate the problem Washington is making worse. Pinal County, Ariz., Sheriff Paul Babeu said yesterday, “Our own government has become our enemy.” This memo proves his case. . .end of article

Where are the Republicans? They should be on every radio and network screaming at the top of their lungs warning the American people of this crime against constitutional order. This administration is demonstrating communism and many in the public don’t recognize it. We are being communized.

President Pinocchio knows he’s in trouble and wants to find a way to grant amnesty for the purpose of the Latino vote. What this criminal administration and Congress are not telling the American people is that once amnesty is granted the relatives of the illegals will be able to join them in our country. With millions more added, imagine the increase in cost to our institutions. You will see voter fraud go unmolested; confrontations between races. Pockets of “barrios” will grow and become “whitey keep out zones” – just like many towns in California.

When you read the Constitution you soon notice what it says and the way our country is governed are different. As an example, the following is the constitutional duty as to who is in charge of naturalization:

Naturalization: To confer upon (an alien) the rights and privileges of a citizen.

Article 1 Sec. 8 para 4 – POWERS GRANTED TO CONGRESS

“The Congress shall have the Power To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization…”

Nowhere in the Constitution do I find that authority given to the President of the United States by the Constitution. What I suspect is that sometime ago the Congress via some kind of Act delegated that power to the Executive Branch. This has happened many times in our history. People have been convinced that we have a “living Constitution,” that is to say government may change it as we go along. Reason being, we are told, that it takes too long to amend the Constitution. So, they pass Acts and Statutes changing our Constitution when in fact, constitutionally it can’t be changed unless we authorize it. This is how the criminals in government back in 1913 turned over control of our monetary system to the International Bankers (without the Amendment process – Article 5) and look where its gotten us – we’re economic slaves. And yet there are laws that say any thing passed by Congress that’s not in harmony with what the Constitution reads is null and void.

So, Article 1 Sec 8 para 4 has never been repealed. Congress constitutionally is in charge of immigration and Obama and his cronies have no authority to grant amnesty. We must not let President Pinocchio pull a fast one. Our way of life is in danger and this administration couldn’t care less about your Constitution. And to think this Pinocchio taught constitutional law in college. Just think of all the minds he poisoned through the years. You folks with college age kids should be careful what college your kids go to – it’ll cost you a fortune and the result will be a socialized mind for your money.

Call your U.S Senator and U.S. House of Representative and tell them to stop this movement by Obama. Call your friends and relatives in other States to do the same.

Quote of the day:

"We are free today substantially, but the day will come when our Republic will be an impossibility. It will be an impossibility because wealth will be concentrated in the hands of a few. A Republic cannot stand on bayonets, and when the day comes, when the wealth of the nation will be in the hands of a few, then we must rely upon the wisdom of the best elements in the country to readjust the laws of the nation to the changed conditions." (James Madison)

The odds are stacked against us but there is hope. We have an enemy in our government, the Congress of the United States, who is corrupted by the International Bankers. It doesn’t matter who the president is, just remember the Congress controls the purse. They can shut down any president they want. This is why the election in November is vitally important. The future of our country is in your hands. . .I love you, America.

CUBA’S ADMIRED SOCIALIZED MEDICINE

On August 17, 2010, in Frank Trejo, by TRAYHO

Italics are mine – Frank Trejo – Yesterday’s News Today

Numerous Chaoscrats from Congress have visited Cuba and have returned praising how great Cuba is under the ruling by the Castro brothers. And to think this ignorant mentality is responsible for much legislation passed in our Congress. The following appeared in the Wall Street Journal 8-16-2010. Written by Maria C. Werlau.

Cuba’s Cash-for-Doctors Program

For decades, Cuba has “exported” doctors, nurses and health technicians to earn diplomatic influence in poor countries and hard cash for its floundering economy. According to Cuba’s official media, an estimated 38,544 Cuban health professionals were serving abroad in 2008, 17,697 of them doctors. (Cuba reports having 70,000 doctors in all)

These “missionaries of the revolution” are well-received in host countries from Algeria to South Africa to Venezuela. Yet those who hail Cuba’s generosity overlook the uglier aspects of Cuba’s health diplomacy. The regime stands accused of violating various international agreements such as the Trafficking in Persons Protocol and ILO Convention on the Protection of Wages because of the way these health-care providers are treated. In February, for example, seven Cuban doctors who formerly served in Venezuela and later defected filed a lawsuit in Florida federal court against Cuba, Venezuela state oil companies for holding them in conditions akin to “modern slavery.”

Off the subject: I well remember when Castro and the hero Che Cuevera, to many in college campuses in America, were being hailed in the late ‘50s and ‘60s as “revolutionary heroes.” Fidel, was being touted as a “George Washington,” by the New York Times. Dictator Battista had an army of 22,000 and the bearded-one had around 1800 terrorists in the mountains. How Cuba was overtaken with such ease remains a mystery to many. We had the power (USA) to prevent it but the Bay of Pigs was a failure. Why did it fail? I didn’t believe anything the media-complex in our country was reporting. What I do believe is that it was allowed to happen. Reason? The goal of the International Bankers (inventors of communism) is to communize the whole world. They don’t care how long it takes. They want complete control. . . article continues.

They claim the Cuban regime held the funds Venezuela remitted for their services and then paid them – an arrangement they say is a form of “debt bondage.” They also say they were forced to work extremely long hours in dangerous areas, including urban zones with high crime rates and the jungle. (The Venezuelan government and its oil company are challenging the court’s jurisdiction to hear the case; Cuba hasn’t responded.)

Starting in 2002, Hugo Chavez (Mussolini wanna be) agreed to pay – mostly with subsidized, cheap Venezuelan oil – for Cuba to provide health care to marginalized populations in Venezuela at no cost to patients. But in the past several years he has expanded the effort to other countries, helping to build support for his regional Marxist agenda (does it ring a bell?) while keeping the Cuban economy afloat.

Cuba won’t release its agreements with host countries, but details have emerged in open sources, including in Cuba’s official media. These show that typically the host country pays Cuba hard currency for each health worker and provides accommodations, food and a monthly stipend generally between $150 and $350. Cuba covers airfare and logistical support, and it pays salaries to the health-care workers out of the funds it holds.

Cuba’s global health projects also receive support from the developed world. (throw in some of our foreign-aid money) In 2005, at least $27 million was donated to Cuba’s Haiti mission, including from France and Japan. International goodwill also translates into direct aid. In 2008, Cuba received $127 million from OECD countries. (The Organization for Economic and Development) These transfers explain the recent rise in Cuba’s export of services, to $8.6 billion in 2008 from $4.8 billion in 2003. Representing 75% of GDP, they generate far more income than any other industry.

American corporations are being criticized for holding onto their cash reserves. They are being conservative with their business operations. They are cutting costs; are reducing payroll, anything that will save money. Why? Because they don’t know what the idiot President Pinocchio is going to do with the economy next year. They know one thing – taxes are going to go through the roof. They want to have cash reserves on hand to weather the storm. I am not an economist but I betcha’ I can make a better tamale than Obama. . . article continues…

Cuban doctors go abroad because at home they earn a scant $22 – $25 a month. When they work in other countries, they typically get a small stipend in local currency while their families back home receive their usual salary plus a payment in hard currency – from$50 to $325 per month. But with the state as sole employer and the citizens forbidden from leaving the country without permission, the system is tailor made for exploitation. Several Cuban doctors who have served abroad tell me that in addition to very long hours they may not drive a car, leave their dwellings after a certain hour, or speak to the media. In some countries they are only allowed to associate with “revolutionaries.” Thousands of Cuban health professionals have deserted world-wide. Almost 1,500 have made it to the U.S. alone since 2006, according to a Department of Homeland Security report in March.

I’ll wager any amount of money that these courageous souls are not in the streets demonstrating for their rights like many in the Latino world. As a matter of fact, the Cuban people are the Jew of the Latino world. I say that in respect to the American-Jew for being the intellect that they are. No American-Cuban will ever support socialism/communism – they have too many awful memories. They arrive in this country and before long they are self-employed and enjoying the freedom and liberties our country gives to anyone who wants it. This is something the American-Jew understands completely. I, for one, am proud of my Latino brothers that respect our laws and my hat off to the American-Jew for helping make this a better country. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, President Pinocchio. . . article continues…

Cuba’s profitable global business has ramifications for its own health-care system. It’s been extensively reported, by Cuba’s independent journalists as well as by the occasional Westerner who ends up in a hospital for the common people, that Cubans face a chronic shortage of doctors and dilapidated health facilities. Patients or their families must even bring their own food and linens to the hospitals. I remind you of the awful conditions in many VA hospitals.

Meanwhile, the mass production of Cuban doctors for export has led medical associations in host countries such as Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil and Portugal to question their experience and credentials. Some Venezuelan doctors have complained of being fired and replaced by Cuban missionary physicians. And a few years ago the Bolivian press reported that the country’s medical association was complaining about thousands of unemployed health professionals who were earning considerably less than what Mr. Chavez was paying for Cubans.

Humanitarianism (godless – rejects the importance of belief in God) cannot be selective. Cuba’s health workers deserve full protection of local and international laws, its citizens deserve access to adequate health care, and patients everywhere deserve accountability from their health-care providers. . .end of article.

Take note Americans – especially doctors. This could be the end result of control by Democrats in Congress and communist within to destroy our medical field. Many Doctors in our country are leaving the field. Many are denying people on Medicaid. We are in for some bad times in the near future. Voters keep on voting for Democrats and this is where they’ll take us. . .I love you, America.

Quote of the day:

The great reservoir of freedom that we have is, after all, the most outstanding thing that distinguishes us from the Communist world. The Communist world, as I have seen it, would be a terrible place to live because there is no place for the spirit of man, for his soul – no place for his conscience, no place for individual utterances of dissident views.” (William O. Douglas – Supreme Court Judge)
